“The [Philippines’] Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) is preparing an “action plan” that would guide government assistance to 7,000 Filipinos who are expected to be deported from [the Malaysian state of] Sabah by February.”  The deportations are the result of an agreement reached with Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak last November and are expected to increase in large numbers in February.
